abdullahheisman.jpgNew York, NY: With three invitations to the Heisman ceremony, Justin Abdullah was hoping the third time would be the charm. He walked away from huge NFL dollars to come back to finish his degree and hopefully win The University of Arizona their first ever Heisman.

His dreams were answered on Saturday as he became Arizona’s first ever Heisman winner. The vote wasn’t even close as Abdullah rewrote almost all records for Collegiate Wide Receivers this season.

“This is why I came back,” said Abdullah after the ceremony. “It’s nice to see that a strong black, MUSLIM man can win this award. I also want to give praise to Allah.”

Abdullah will walk away from Arizona with 2 Best WR awards, a Heisman, 2 National Titles, A Rose Bowl, and hopefully a Holiday Bowl victory.

Video of the Ceremony to follow.
