osu20151.jpgColumbus, OH – Remember 2012?  A lot of Wildcat fans were seeing shades of Barrett Dixon in Ohio State’s EJ Johnson on Saturday night in Columbus.  The Junior Heisman contender absolutely tortured the Arizona defense by going 12/16 passing for 276 yards and four touchdowns.  He then made matters worse by rushing for 130 yards on 9 carries.

But those 4 TDs were due to Arizona’s inability to tackle the Buckeye’s incredible strong WRs.

“We looked like bitches,” said Patrick Rodriguez after the game.  “and if you want blame put it with the captains.  Kevin and I didn’t come through.”

Bonds reacted similarly: “this was our fault, we screwed up.  Awful.”

On the Arizona side, Brian Haynes proved that he will be a Heisman contender next year by tearing up the vaunted Buckeye defense by carries 22 itmes for 126 yards and 2 TDs.

Brian was coy with the media: “So what? So what?  We lost, Carbon Emissions are going up, and we aren’t doing enough to cut energy consumption.  I don’t know what sickens me more, America’s lack of a willingness to sacrifice to save the earth or this loss.  I’m really not sure.”osu20152.jpg

Also, we can officially consider the starting Quarterback controversy right now: Casey Cook started the game and was an unimpressive 1/7 for 13 yards, but he ran extremely well and even pulled in some clutch first downs by running.  When Brent Robinson came in for the second half, it was like a whole new offense as he went 7/12 150 yards and two touchdowns.

“We’ll see who starts next,” said Stoops after the game.  “We have still won 28 in a row in the Pac Ten and I make decisions that will help us win the Pac Ten.”
